Substitute teacher accused of sex act with student

A Clark County School District substitute teacher was arrested Wednesday after police were contacted about allegations of “inappropriate conduct” involving a juvenile , Metro Police said.

Kelly Hoffman, 48, was arrested and booked at the Clark County jail on a count of a sex act by an adult school employee with a pupil, two counts of sexual assault of a child under 16, luring a child and two counts of statutory sexual seduction, Metro Police said.

Police were contacted Wednesday about inappropriate conduct by Hoffman involving a juvenile, police said.

Hoffman was hired as a substitute teacher March 2, 2004, School District spokesman Dave Sheehan said. He has been removed from the list used to fill substitute teaching assignments, Sheehan said.
