A man was injured in a shooting Sunday night in the northeast valley , Metro Police said.
The shooting was reported about 8:30 p.m. in the 2900 block of Clifford Street, near North Pecos Road and Las Vegas Boulevard North, Officer Larry Hadfield said.
The man was transported to University Medical Center with injuries that did not appear life-threatening, he said.
No suspect was in custody, and violent-crimes detectives were investigating, Hadfield said.
