Hockey player Jarret Stoll underwent a voluntary pat-down at an MGM pool Friday, and security found cocaine and a substance believed to be the drug Molly in his swim shorts, according to a Metro Police arrest report.

Stoll, a center for the Los Angeles Kings, was arrested about 4:30 p.m. Friday at the Wet Republic Ultra Pool on a count of possession of a controlled substance after powder in a small plastic bag he was carrying tested positive for cocaine, the police report said.

The 32-year-old, who is dating “Dancing with the Stars” co-host and Fox Sports reporter Erin Andrews, was released Friday night on his own recognizance, according to the Clark County District Attorney’s Office and the Clark County Detention Center.

Stoll was stopped at the entrance of the pool, where a sign notes that customers will be asked to undergo a pat-down, police said.

A security guard found two small, pink baggies with an off-white powder and a clear baggie with gel-caps in a back pocket of Stoll’s swim shorts, police said.

The gel caps, which weighed about 8.1 grams, contained an off-white powder, and police believe the substance in the bag was the narcotic MDMA, also known as Molly, police said.

Police allege Stoll admitted the pink baggies contained cocaine, according to the report.

Stoll’s attorney, David Chesnoff, urged “everyone not to prejudge the circumstances” surrounding Stoll’s arrest.

“We’re looking forward to assisting a fine athlete and gentleman,” Chesnoff said. “We plan to investigate the allegations fully. We’ll be able to comment more at a later date.”

Stoll is expected to appear in court at 8:30 a.m. July 1, according to the District Attorney’s Office.

The results of a toxicology report on the substances within the plastic bags are pending, the District Attorney’s Office said.

The results are not expected for weeks, and Stoll will not be formally charged until those results are in and the case has been reviewed, the office said.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
