One person was pronounced dead after a two-car crash in the northwest valley this morning, Metro Police said.
The incident was reported at 7:11 a.m. after two cars collided at the intersection of Jones Boulevard and Tropical Parkway, Officer Laura Meltzer said.
One driver was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other was treated for minor injuries, Meltzer said.
The intersection will be shut down for several hours while police investigate the scene.
