Las Vegas Sands Corp. Chairman and CEO Sheldon Adelson testifies at Clark County Justice Center on Tuesday, April 28, 2015, in Las Vegas. Steven Jacobs, former president of Sands Macau, is suing Sands China and Las Vegas Sands Corp. over a wrongful termination case.

Billionaire casino CEO and chairman Sheldon Adelson says he doesn't oversee day-to-day business of Las Vegas Sands Corp. but lawyers representing a fired former executive of related company Sands China Ltd. suing the company and Adelson for wrongful termination argue Adelson decides everything from firing to stock bonuses to seating inside his Macau casino's restaurants.

Adelson spent Tuesday morning testifying in a Clark County courtroom often offering unprompted his low opinion of former Sands China CEO Steven Jacobs causing his own lawyer to object at one point.

Jacobs' wrongful termination claim isn't at play yet. First, Judge Elizabeth Gonzalez must decide if her courtroom has jurisdiction over the case since Sands China Ltd. is based in Macau, China. Adelson's testimony follows several days of testimony in the case.
