The valley welcomes two restaurants, and the Las Vegas Medical District expands with the opening of an imaging location. A Las Vegas hotel prepares for a restaurant and lounge this fall, and a steakhouse temporarily closes for renovations.
The Steamie Weenie
Henderson gets a blend of retro and modern tastes with the opening of this hot dog joint run by local resident Bob Remington and his wife. The 1,265-square-foot eatery features menu items such as “fun hot dogs, tots, fries and floats,” Remington said.

Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers
A groundbreaking July 22 marked the debut of the fast-food chain in Summerlin. From the 2000 to 2010 census, Summerlin's population grew by more than 100,000 people, making it a target location for the restaurant, known for its chicken finger meals.

Rivea and Skyfall Lounge
This fall, the Delano will welcome Chef Alain Ducasse’s two enterprises. Rivea, which is inspired by Mediterranean flavors, will feature dishes such as stuffed baby vegetables and house-made pizette. Bruno Rious will serve as executive chef. The Skyfall Lounge will offer 180-degree views of the city and give guests the opportunity to enjoy Champagne as well as the dance floor.

Steinberg Diagnostic Medical Imaging
The imaging location makes its way into the Las Vegas Medical District with a grand opening ceremony Tuesday and will offer a variety of services including MRI and CT scans.

SW Steakhouse
The restaurant inside the Wynn Las Vegas temporarily closed July 27 for renovations and will reopen Aug. 14. Guests can still enjoy the restaurant’s popular menu items such as seared steak tartare and Japanese Kobe beef at Lakeside, also at the Wynn.
