Accident
Three people were injured, one critically, when a car collided with an SUV and then ran into an office building Monday night in the southeast valley, according to Metro Police.
The accident happened about 9 p.m. when a Chevrolet Equinox, north on the Pecos-McLeod Interconnect, and a Hyundai Sonata, east on Mojave Road, collided at the intersection, police said.
The Hyundai drove over a raised curb, hit a traffic signal control box and then ran into the office building, police said.
A passenger in the car, a 43-year-old Las Vegas woman, was critically injured, and the driver, a 35-year-old Las Vegas man, suffered moderate injures, police said.
The driver of the SUV, a 23-year-old Henderson woman, suffered minor injuries, officials said.
They were all taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center.
The crash remains under investigation, police said.
