A man killed in a murder-suicide at a west valley apartment complex Monday night has been identified as Clayton Klungseth, 30, of Las Vegas, according to the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
Klungseth died of multiple gunshot wounds in a homicide at 725 Hualapai Way, near Charleston Boulevard, according to the Coroner’s Office.
Someone reported hearing gunshots about 6:50 p.m. Monday, and when Metro Police officers arrived, they found Klungseth and another man suffering from gunshot wounds, police said.
The two men were relatives and Klungseth had just arrived at the complex when the other man shot him multiple times, police said.
Klungseth was taken to University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
The suspect shot himself and died at the scene, police said. His name has not yet been released by the Coroner’s Office.
