35-year-old man killed in shooting in N. Las Vegas ID’d

A man who was shot and killed Thursday after an argument in a North Las Vegas neighborhood has been identified as Darrian Dewayne Moten of Las Vegas, according to the Clark County Coroner’s office.

According to North Las Vegas police:

Moten had been arguing shortly after midnight with 34-year-old Anthony Glasper in a neighborhood on Valley Regal Way, near Craig Road and Decatur Boulevard, when Glasper fatally shot him in the chest, North Las Vegas police said.

Moten, 35, ran outside and collapsed in the road. He was found unconscious and taken to University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Glasper later returned to the scene and was booked into the Las Vegas City Jail on counts of murder and ex-felon in possession of a firearm.

The shooting is not believed to be a random act, as the two men knew each other, Officer Aaron Patty said.
