Man, 25, arrested in robbery, shooting at Subway in June

Metro Police have arrested a man who they say carried out an armed robbery at a Subway in the southern part of the valley in June.

Around 2:30 p.m. June 10, officers responded to a report of a robbery and shooting at a Subway in the 8900 block of South Maryland Parkway, police said in a press release.

They arrived to find a female employee suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to her face and body.

An investigation, which was aided by the FBI, revealed 25-year-old Erin Ware as a suspect, and a warrant was issued for his arrest, the release said.

Ware was arrested in Reno on Aug. 10 and booked into the Clark County Detention Center on Aug. 14. He faces charges of attempted murder with a deadly weapon, two counts of robbery with a deadly weapon, burglary with possession of a firearm and battery with intent to commit robbery.
