Metro Police are still searching for a suspect in the death of a 30-year-old Las Vegas man who was shot Thursday night in the garage of a southwest valley home.

According to Metro Police:

Initially, police were searching for two people of interest. Those were identified and found, then released after an interview with detectives.

Jerelle Javanta Lamb died of multiple gunshot wounds, according to the Clark County Coroner’s Office. Metro Police were called about 10:30 p.m. to the 7800 block of Limestone Arch Avenue, near South Buffalo Drive and Blue Diamond Road, on reports of gunshots.

Authorities found Lamb and transported him to University Medical Center, where he died. Lamb apparently was arriving home when two suspects approached him, police said. There was a struggle, and Lamb was shot in his vehicle.

Police described the motive as possibly “narcotics or robbery related.”
