Crash
A motorcyclist died Tuesday night after rear-ending a BMW on Blue Diamond Road near Decatur Boulevard, according to Nevada Highway Patrol.
The motorcycle and BMW were headed west on Blue Diamond west of Decatur about 8 p.m. when the motorcyclist, who was traveling at a high speed, hit the other vehicle, Trooper Chelsea Stuenkel said.
The male motorcyclist of unknown age was taken to University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, she said.
No one in the BMW was injured, she said.
Westbound Blue Diamond was closed at Decatur, and traffic was being diverted north onto Decatur, she said.
Metro Police were also called to the scene.
