Cheyenne closed at Allen Lane after crash leaves motorcyclist in critical condition

Police investigate the scene of a two-vehicle crash at West Cheyenne Avenue and Allen Lane. A motorcyclist involved in the wreck was taken to University Medical Center in critical condition.

A motorcyclist is in critical condition after a North Las Vegas crash this afternoon, according to police.

Police were called just before 2 p.m. to the two-vehicle crash near West Cheyenne Avenue and Allen Lane, North Las Vegas Police Officer Aaron Patty said.

The man driving the motorcycle was taken to University Medical Center in critical condition, Patty said. The other vehicle remained on scene.

Cheyenne is closed in both directions in the area of the crash, and drivers are advised to use alternate routes.
