Police: Man found dead at home, car missing

Metro Police are seeking clues in the death of a man discovered Saturday with apparent gunshot wounds at a home near Stewart Avenue and Sandhill Road. The victim’s car was also missing, police said.

Patrol officers were dispatched about 6:30 p.m. to the 3900 block of Saguaro Lane to investigate reports of a shooting. Medical personnel pronounced the man dead at the scene, police said.

Gunshots had been heard before the man was found dead, police said. The victim’s gray 2012 Nissan Sentra with Nevada license plate LV XJ78 also was missing, police said.

No suspects have been identified, and the reason for the shooting is not known, police said.
