Teen stabbed to death in roadside fight

A teenager was stabbed to death during a fight Sunday night in northeast Las Vegas, according to Metro Police.

The teen was found dead about 9:30 p.m. on the side of the road in the 2500 block of East Owens Avenue, police said. His name and age weren’t released.

Investigators later learned that the teen was walking with a relative when they were confronted by a group that began arguing and fighting with them, police said.

As passing drivers honked to try to stop the fight, the group ran away, and the teen collapsed on the side of the road, police said.

No suspects have been identified.
