Firefighters battled a blaze this morning at a vacant, single-story house near Rancho and Vegas drives, according to Las Vegas Fire & Rescue officials.
No injuries were reported.
The fire broke out about 6:30 a.m. in the 3800 block of Melody Lane. Heavy fire was reported in the attic of the house, officials said.
Firefighters quickly brought the blaze under control and had it out before 7 a.m., officials said. The cause is under investigation.
