In response to the letter “Here’s why God would be Democrat” (Las Vegas Sun, Jan. 28):
God a Democrat? Au contraire. God is neither Democrat nor Republican; God is an Independent. God is omnificent and benevolent — attributes to which neither political party can lay claim. The letter writer can dream on about his Democratic God, but in the hereafter, he will be very disappointed.
