The man shot and killed after an early morning fight on New Year's Day has been identified by the Clark County Coroner's Office.
Kendral Leonard Earl Anderson, 26, died of a gunshot wound to the head Thursday, the coroner's office said.
Metro Police were called around 2 a.m. to an apartment on North Bruce Street near East Washington Avenue, where they found Anderson suffering from a gunshot wound. Metro said a fight occurred before shots were fired. Anderson was pronounced dead at the scene.
Metro's homicide unit is investigating the shooting.
