A man was hit by a pickup truck this morning near South 15th Street and East Charleston Boulevard, Metro Police said.
The pedestrian declined to be transported to the hospital after the accident, which happened about 11 a.m., Officer Laura Meltzer said.
The truck initially fled but officers later located it and cited the driver, she said. No additional details were immediately available.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing, police said.
