Metro Police have identified a man accused of hitting a woman and her two children with an SUV on Saturday before driving through a bus stop in a suspected DUI crash.
Daniel Cronin, 31, was arrested Saturday on a felony count of DUI resulting in substantial bodily harm and on unrelated traffic warrants, officials said.
Cronin was driving a silver 2010 Nissan Pathfinder about 5:45 p.m. when it ran off the road and drove onto a sidewalk on North Rainbow Boulevard just north of West Lake Mead Boulevard, police said.
A 21-year-old woman, her 4-year-old son and 9-year-old daughter were struck, police said.
The SUV then hit the bus shelter, striking a 27-year-old man sitting on a bench, police said.
The pedestrians were transported to University Medical Center, where the mother was last listed in critical condition, police said.
The daughter suffered serious injuries, and the boy suffered moderate injuries, police said.
The man sitting on the bench suffered minor injuries, as did Cronin and a 25-year-old woman in the SUV, police said.
