Two people were hospitalized with gunshot wounds Tuesday night after a caller reported an injured person in the central valley, Metro Police said.
Police received a report about 9:10 p.m. of someone shot in a residential neighborhood in the 1300 block of Pyramid Circle, near Vegas and Rancho drives, Officer Laura Meltzer said.
A man and a woman were hospitalized and are expected to survive, she said.
No one has been taken into custody in the incident.
Metro's Violent Crimes unit has taken over the investigation, Meltzer said.
