A man found dead Thursday afternoon in a North Las Vegas drainage ditch suffered a gunshot wound, and investigators are treating the case as a homicide, police said.
The man's body was discovered about 3 p.m. in a ditch near Lamb Boulevard and Azure Avenue, located near Tropical Parkway, North Las Vegas Police said.
Police said it appears he died of a gunshot wound, although the official cause and manner of death, as well as the man's name, will be released by the Clark County Coroner's Office once next of kin has been notified.
