North Las Vegas Police release video in fatal hit-and-run

North Las Vegas Police are seeking the public's help in identifying a driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash that left a 73-year-old man dead on Halloween.

Francisco Martinez was pronounced dead at University Medical Center after being struck by a truck about 7 p.m. Oct. 31 in the 3300 block of Lake Mead Boulevard, near Pecos Road, officials said.

Police released video today of the accident and requested the public's help in identifying the driver and finding the vehicle.

Martinez was trying to cross Lake Mead Boulevard when a dark truck heading west struck him and fled the scene, police said.
