Police search for woman, man in convenience store robbery

Metro Police identified this man and woman as suspects in the robbery of a convenience store Jan. 19, 2015, in the area of Sahara Avenue and Valley View Boulevard.

A woman armed with a handgun threatened to shoot a convenience store clerk early Monday as a man went behind the counter and grabbed money from the register, Metro Police said.

The robbery happened about 2:55 a.m. at a store in the area of Sahara Avenue and Valley View Boulevard, police said. The suspects fled on foot, police said.

The woman was described as Hispanic, 19 to 25 years old, about 5 feet 9 inches tall and 160 pounds with dark hair. She was wearing a gray hoodie, a dark-colored headband faded blue jeans and white gloves, police said.

The man was described as Hispanic, 25 to 35 years old, about 5 feet 9 inches tall and 160 pounds with dark hair. He was wearing a camouflage jacket with a dark hoodie underneath, a ball cap and dark pants.
