A man whose body was found in a North Las Vegas drainage ditch earlier this month has been identified as 18-year-old Hussein Abdelgilil, according to the Clark County Coroner's Office.
Abdelgilil, a Henderson resident, was found with a gunshot wound about 3 p.m. Jan. 15 near Azure Avenue and Lamb Boulevard, North Las Vegas Police said.
The official cause and manner of Abdelgilil's death has not been released and is pending a toxicology report and a police investigation, the Coroner's Office said.
North Las Vegas Police said they are investigating the death as a homicide.
