Officers are responding to a report of a possibly suicidal man barricaded within a townhouse near East Desert Inn and South Mojave roads, Metro Police said.
Police received a report about 9:46 a.m. of a domestic dispute on Las Casitas Way, Lt. John Liberty said.
A man is now barricaded within the residence alone. There are reports that the man has a household knife, but those reports have not been confirmed, Liberty said.
SWAT and negotiators are en route to attempt to talk the man out of the residence.
