Law enforcement officials shut down two suspected Las Vegas brothels Wednesday and made two arrests in the case, according to Metro Police.

The Southern Nevada Human Trafficking Task Force served search warrants at homes in the 1800 and 2300 blocks of Walnut Avenue, near Bonanza Road and Eastern Avenue, police said.

Officers arrested Javier Garcia-Rodelas, 42, on five counts of pandering of an adult for prostitution and five counts of accepting earnings of a prostitute, police said.

Edelmira Beltran-Blanco, 41, was arrested on one count of sex trafficking, three counts of pandering of an adult for prostitution and four counts of accepting earnings of a prostitute, police said.

Metro's Vice and Sex Trafficking Investigations Section was tipped off in February about possible brothels at the residences, police said.

Metro is asking anyone with additional information on the case to call the Vice and Sex Trafficking Investigations Section at 702-828-3455. To remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555 or visit crimestoppersofnv.com.

The FBI and Homeland Security Investigations were also involved in the investigation.
