Cars catch fire outside condominium building

Two cars caught fire near a condominium building this morning in the southwest valley, according to the Clark County Fire Department.

Fire crews responded about 7:30 a.m. to the Laguna del Rey condominium complex at 5000 Red Rock Street, near West Tropicana Avenue and South Jones Boulevard. Crews found two vehicles on fire outside of a garage near the two-story building, officials said.

Firefighters put out the fire before it spread to the condos, and no injuries were reported, officials said. No residents were displaced.

The cause of the fire and a damage estimate were not immediately available.
