CARSON CITY — Political newcomer Susie Lee has an early lead in fundraising in the Democratic primary for Nevada's 4th Congressional District.

Lee's campaign says she's raised $330,260 since announcing her campaign in late May, counting a $50,000 loan she gave herself.

Democratic state Sen. Ruben Kihuen says he's raised $214,000 in the first two months of his campaign, and said most of that has rolled in after the legislative session ended in early June.

Former Democratic Nevada Assemblywoman Lucy Flores' campaign says she's raised about $106,000.

Former Nevada Assembly Speaker John Oceguera joined the race after the most recent fundraising quarter, which ended June 30.

The four Democrats are vying for a seat held by first-term Republican Rep. Cresent Hardy. The district includes North Las Vegas and rural Nevada and leans Democratic.
