An 86-year-old woman who died July 3 after a two-vehicle crash in Summerlin has been identified as Las Vegas resident Elisabeth Burkey, according to the Clark County Coroner's Office.
Burkey died of multiple injuries in the crash at Lake Mead Boulevard and Hillpointe Road, according to the Coroner's Office.
She was driving a 2012 Toyota Camry about 3:40 p.m. that was hit by a 2004 Toyota 4Runner westbound on Lake Mead Boulevard, according to Metro Police.
The 4Runner was nearing Hillpointe when it crossed the center line, and Burkey was taken to University Medical Center, police said.
She died after surgery, police said.
The 55-year-old woman driving the 4Runner was taken to UMC with serious injuries, police said.
