A woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash this afternoon at an entrance to Lake Mead National Recreation Area, according to the National Park Service.
The woman failed to yield at the Lake Mead Parkway entrance station about 5 p.m., driving into another vehicle at the window, the park service said.
She was taken by ambulance to University Medical Center and is in stable condition, the park service said.
The driver of the other vehicle declined medical attention, the park service said.
Drivers can expect delays in the area the rest of the evening, but both lanes are open, the park service said
The incident is under investigation.
