A 16-year-old boy shot to death in a North Las Vegas house early this morning has been identified as Javeion Willoughby.
Officers were called about 2:30 a.m. to the 1100 block of Gary Carmena Avenue, near East Tropical Parkway and Losee Road, where a shooting was reported, North Las Vegas Police Officer Steven Wiese said.
Willoughby, a North Las Vegas resident, was found dead inside the house, he said.
Detectives were initially seeking a 17-year-old described as a person of interest in the case but later said the teen was no longer wanted for questioning.
The shooting remains under investigation.
