A woman was removed from a car after a two-vehicle crash on the 215 Beltway that stalled traffic this morning, according to Nevada Highway Patrol.
The Highway Patrol was called about 11:30 a.m. to the southbound lanes of the 215 north of West Lake Mead Boulevard, where the Oldsmobile sedan the woman was driving was involved in a crash with a GMC truck, Trooper Chelsea Stuenkel said.
The woman was transported to University Medical Center with serious injuries that are not believed to be life threatening, Stuenkel said.
No other injuries were reported.
All southbound travel lanes were blocked and traffic was getting by on the shoulder, she said.
