A woman declared dead after the SUV she was driving hit a parked recycling truck Friday in North Las Vegas has been identified as Lavasha Lashawn Richey, according to the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
Richey, 51, of North Las Vegas was driving a Honda CR-V south on Commerce Street near Miller Avenue when the SUV drifted to the right and crashed into the truck, according to North Las Vegas Police.
She was pronounced dead at the scene. Nobody was in the truck, police said.
The cause and manner of Richey’s death have not yet been released, according to the Coroner’s Office.
