Three people were detained after they were found hiding in a shed following a burglary this morning at a southwest valley home, according to Metro Police.
Police were called about 11:20 a.m. to investigate a burglary at a house in the 3600 block of Gina Place, near West Twain Avenue and South Rainbow Boulevard, Officer Larry Hadfield said.
The suspects fled on foot, and police set up a perimeter in the area, Hadfield said.
Police detained three male suspects during the investigation, he said.
Las Vegas Day School at 3275 Red Rock St., about 1.5 miles from the house, was on lockdown from about 12:10 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. due to the investigation, the school said.
