Boys, 14 and 11, accused of arson in Henderson house fire

Two boys have been accused of arson in a fire at a vacant house that caused an estimated $85,000 damage, Henderson Police said.

The boys, one 14 and the other 11, each were arrested on one count of second-degree arson and booked at the Clark County Juvenile Detention Center, police said.

Firefighters responded about 6:45 p.m. Monday to multiple calls of a garage fire in the 400 block of Jefferson Boulevard, police said. Two vehicles outside the house also were on fire.

Firefighters quickly put out the blaze, but the house and vehicles were a total loss, police said.
