A fire in a laundry room at an apartment building spread to two unoccupied apartments before firefighters put out the blaze, according to the Clark County Fire Department.
The fire was reported abut 1:50 p.m. today at a two-story building in the 5300 block of Craig Road, near Nellis Air Force Base, officials said. Flames and smoke were coming from the building when firefighters arrived, officials said.
Nobody was injured, and the cause of the fire is under investigation officials said. The extent of the damage had not been determined, officials said.
The North Las Vegas Fire Department also responded to the blaze.
