Police release picture of suspect in Henderson bank robbery

Henderson Police say they are seeking this man in the robbery of the U.S. Bank branch in the Smith’s grocery store at 1000 N. Green Valley Parkway on Tuesday, June 16, 2015.

Henderson Police are trying to identify a suspect in the robbery of a U.S. Bank branch inside a Smith’s grocery store Tuesday afternoon.

The suspect went into the store at 1000 North Green Valley Parkway about 12:30 p.m. and demanded money from a teller, police said. He showed the teller a gun tucked in his waistband of his pants, police said.

The teller gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money before the suspect fled, police said.

No one was injured during the robbery, police said.

The suspect is described as about 5 feet 6 inches tall, in his 30s and about 150 to 170 pounds. He was wearing a green baseball cap, black, wrap-around sunglasses, a gray long-sleeved T-shirt, black running pants with a white stripe and dark-colored tennis shoes.
