A Las Vegas doctor is facing child pornography counts after allegedly sedating a teenage patient and videotaping himself having sex with her at his office, according to Metro Police.

Metro Police arrested Dr. Binh “Ben” Chung, 41, on June 20. Chung was most recently practicing at a medical office in the 8700 block of West Warm Springs Road, near Durango Drive.

His medical license was suspended indefinitely by the Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners.

According to the board, Chung got his medical degree in 2001 from the University of Nevada, Reno, and completed his residency in Las Vegas in 2004.

Chung, who declined interviews through police, faces a count of using a minor over 14 to produce child pornography and 10 counts of possession of child pornography, police said.

Detectives are asking anyone with additional information to contact Metro’s sexual assault section at 702-828-3421.
