Regardless of one’s point of view on the subject, Assemblywoman Michele Fiore should be censored for her remark that men would think twice about rape “if these young, hot little girls have a firearm.”
Neither little girls nor little boys should ever have a firearm. Fiore’s description of adult female college students promotes the same distorted thought process that prompts rapists to discount their violent actions: the denigration of the victim.
Perhaps Fiore would prefer the title assemblygirl.
