A body was found just before noon today in the desert off of State Route 160 near Sandy Valley, Metro Police said.
Homicide detectives are investigating.
No further information on the gender, age or exact location where the body was discovered was immediately available.
Sandy Valley is southwest of Las Vegas on the Nevada-California border.
