Metro Police are seeking two people they say invaded a home near downtown Las Vegas this week and stole the resident's property before attempting identity theft.
The male and female suspects entered a home near East Bonanza Road and North Maryland Parkway, forcefully taking items and slightly injuring a male at the residence, Robbery Sgt. Steve Candelas said.
The male who was at the residence was not taken to the hospital, Candelas said.
The suspects later attempted to use some of the stolen items to make a purchase at a business, and police obtained surveillance images, he said.
Police described the suspects as a white man in his 30s with dark hair and a white female wearing a red or pink jacket.
Metro is asking anyone with information to call its Robbery Section at 702-828-3591. To remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555 or visit crimestoppersofnv.com.
