Teens arrested after cab driver shot in North Las Vegas

Officials have arrested two teenagers in the North Las Vegas shooting of a taxi driver.

North Las Vegas police said in a statement Thursday that 19-year-old Jarvis Williams and 18-year-old Quincy Lovette face multiple felony charges for two February crimes.

On Feb. 11, a 62-year-old taxi driver was shot multiple times in the 3900 block of Copper Stone Court. He has since recovered.

On Feb. 15, a 31-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint in the 2100 block of Leatherbridge Court. Police said he went there for an online advertisement and was shot at. He wasn't injured. His car was stolen.

Lovette is held at the Clark County jail and Williams is at the Las Vegas jail.

They face charges including attempted murder, attempted robbery, conspiracy, battery, robbery and car theft.
