A girl was critically injured today after being struck by a car on West Bonanza Road, Metro Police said.
The girl was hit at about 4:30 p.m. while walking in a marked crosswalk near Western High School, on Bonanza near Decatur Boulevard, Metro Lt. W. Graham said.
She was taken to University Medical Center with a head injury and is listed in critical condition.
The incident is still being investigated, according to police.
