Henderson Police who entered a home on a search warrant after a suspected barricade situation this afternoon found no one home, a spokeswoman said.
The incident began about 12:50 p.m. in the 1000 block of Brookside Court, near East Warm Springs Road and East Lake Mead Parkway, Henderson Police Department spokeswoman Michelle French said.
Police believed a person was barricaded in the home and attempted to negotiate, she said.
They later served the warrant and entered the property, but they did not find anyone inside, she said.
Nearby residents were asked to stay in their homes but were not evacuated, she said.
Police did not disclose the nature of the warrant.
East Warm Springs was closed between Center Street and Palo Verde Drive during the incident, French said.
