A motorcyclist was critically injured in a crash with a pickup truck this morning at West Craig Road and North Decatur Boulevard, Metro Police said.

The motorcyclist, a 64-year-old Las Vegas man, was riding a Harley Davidson south on Decatur about 6 a.m. when a 2006 Ford F-150 pickup attempted to make a left turn onto Craig Road, police said.

The motorcyclist hit the right side of the truck, police said. He was taken to University Medical Center.

The 39-year-old North Las Vegas woman driving the truck suffered minor injuries, police said.

Impairment is not believed to have played a role in the crash, and the accident remains under investigation, police said.

The intersection was closed until about 10:50 a.m., according to the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada.
