Fire
A Chili's restaurant in the southern valley was evacuated after a fire broke out this afternoon, the Clark County Fire Department said.
Firefighters were called about 3:10 p.m. to a report of a fire at 7530 Las Vegas Blvd. South, near East Warm Springs Road, Clark County Fire spokesman Jeff Buchanan said.
No injuries were reported, he said.
A dumpster and the building were on fire, and smoke was in the air, he said. It appears the fire began in the dumpster, Buchanan said.
The health district was notified, and the fire remains under investigation, he said.
A damage estimate was not immediately available.
