A portion of Flamingo Road near Las Vegas Boulevard has been reduced to one lane after a water main broke last night.
Two of Flamingo’s three westbound lanes have been shut down between Linq Lane and Las Vegas Boulevard South while crews work to repair the break, Las Vegas Valley Water District spokesman Damon Hodge said.
It’s not yet known what caused the break, Hodge said, but it does not appear construction was being done in the area.
Officials hope the break will be repaired in the next few hours, Hodge said.
