A man who was shot Thursday night while walking in the northeast valley has been identified by the Clark County Coroner's office as Christian Jesus Gutierrez.
At 11 p.m., Metro Police officers found 24-year-old Gutierrez, who was from Oxnard, Calif., suffering from apparent gunshot wounds in the 4100 block of East Cheyenne Avenue, near Las Vegas Boulevard North, police said.
He was taken to UMC, where he was pronounced dead.
His cause of death was a gunshot wound to the torso, the coroner's office said.
