Laughlin plane crash victim ID’d

A man who was killed when a small plane carrying four people crashed in Laughlin last week as been identified as James Walker by the Clark County coroner's office.

Walker, 72, of Avondale, Arizona was the only person killed on May 17 when the plane crashed and caught fire in the area of 4220 Needles Highway and the Big Bend Field, authorities said.

The other three passengers were taken to the hospital, two with burn injuries, authorities said.

The plane was headed to Phoenix Goodyear Airport after taking off from Laughlin-Bullhead International Airport.
